Heshe Sweet is the pen name of Linda Vozar Sweet and Roger Sweet who collaborated on the creation of this book. Linda has published in various magazines and literary journals, and her writing has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize. She is also a sculptor and potter. Roger’s sculpture has been collected by museums in California, New Mexico, and New York. His photography is in the collections of the Smithsonian Native American Museum, The School of American Research, and Time Life. He is Mayordomo of the Jemez Springs Community Ditch Association and found a twenty-dollar bill floating in the ditch, which was the inspiration for this story.
