The first in a trilogy of books chronicling life as a bush pilot in Alaska, Fatal Skies follows Mick Batt’s adventures in and around the town of Dillingham. Located on the southwestern part of Alaska, Mick began his life there working for the Federal Aviation Administration as a Flight Service Specialist. His personal piloting experiences combined with stories from others who braved the regions terrain, weather, and wildlife create an exciting and sometimes terrifying look into one of America’s last frontiers.
