Greetings fellow writers!

It’s done!  You’ve finally achieved your goal of writing a novel.  Now what?

Writing your first complete novel is challenging and truly exciting when it is finished.  Now you may be wondering how to get it published and whether or not you want to continue writing as a profession.  New authors are unfamiliar with the publishing industry today and what they need to consider when they move from writing for fun… to writing for fun and profit.  Below is a powerpoint presentation I gave on behalf of the Rio Rancho Public Library to authors who participated in National Novel Writing Month – also known as NaNoWriMo.   It contains a wealth of information which may help you understand writing as a profession.
